I’m sometimes hesitant to take Theo to places of “cultural interest”, because I don’t want to annoy the nice tourists who are visiting without toddlers. However, Aphrodite Temple in February was perfect for us; lots of outdoor space to run and only one other visitor.
An antique guard we met kindly gave me an impromptu tour of the ruins and the the museum. Then, at the end of the visit, he utterly won Theo’s affection by gifting him a toy car.
