We definitely don’t claim that Theo is a perfect eater. He will regularly (and frustratingly) decide that he doesn’t like something and refuse to eat it, sometimes even foods he’s liked in the past.

Truck Produce
A guy with truck bed full of fruits and vegetables parks by the side of the main street of Pissouri on Tuesdays. This week, on my second visit, and he greeted me with a handshake, asked after my ‘baby’, and then gave my a tour of what he had on offer for the day, including a large bottle of moonshine.
Aphrodite Temple
I’m sometimes hesitant to take Theo to places of “cultural interest”, because I don’t want to annoy the nice tourists who are visiting without toddlers. However, Aphrodite Temple in February was perfect for us; lots of outdoor space to run and only one other visitor.
Oh look! It’s another beach!
Yesterday, we were planning to visit some horses who hang out in a field about a three minute drive from our house. (Theo insisted on bringing his imaginary horse, Daniel, who was apparently wearing a green shirt.)

Happy Birthday Theo
At Theo’s request, we held his third birthday party at the beach. Brian and Theo made chocolate brownies, and we planned to use them to encourage other random children at the beach to join his party.
Zooming Metal Pods
For most of our trip (and four of the six years preceding it), we’ve been carless.
One of the benefits of being without a car is that it pushes me to explore (and often get lost in) my immediate surroundings. Moving slowly and meeting people is such a different experience than being in a quickly moving metal pod.
Transitions
I went to Alexandros Riding Stables for a trail ride last week, which was lovely in all ways. I left with some amazing fresh goats’ milk too, courtesy of these goats and their kind owner.
