In addition to tasty coffee, the Auckland cafes we’ve visited will make a “fluffy” for kids, an espresso cup of foamed milk, sometimes with a sprinkle of chocolate and generally accompanied by a marshmallow.
I was initially avoiding the fluffy bandwagon because, well, three-year-olds WANT lots of things, and it was nice to be able to dash into a cafe to fuel just my own addiction. However, it’s hard to say no when so many other kids here are sipping away, so here is our son indulging in New Zealand’s coffee culture (minus the actual coffee.)
