Moving from place to place in quick succession with a toddler is much harder than staying in place for a while, especially since we’re both trying to work part-time.
For most of our two-year trip, we are staying in places for a month at a time. However, right now, we’re on a two-and-a-half-week sprint through Italy (Venice/Florence/Rome) and Germany (Munich) on the way to Croatia.
We’ve been trying to preserve our sanity and our schedules by taking turns minding Theo, while the other person catches up on work (or otherwise just pretends that they are not traveling with a toddler), even on travel days.
Below, see Brian making the most of our in-transit time by oh-so-stylishly working at a Venetian playground while we waited to catch a train to Florence.
